（檳城12日訊）“寫給浪漫的Zairil Khir Zohari（再里爾）！”
即將於本週四在檳榔河跳河引起州政府關注的馬華社會公民運動與協調局主任謝晉文，在今午發佈了一篇《跳進檳榔河》中、英文版本的散文詩，並注明這份“用情感書寫”給檳州行政議員再里爾的“情書”，是為了表達他個人的看法。
謝晉文在文告中指出，他將在本週四早上11時，跳河清理檳榔河的垃圾，提倡環保意識運動。
他表示雖然再里爾只給他1分鐘的交流，但他認為對方可以再給30分鐘的交流平台，一起交流，一起努力，改變人民的生活環境。
“由於再里爾不會中文，我也為他寫了一首英文（Jumping into Sungai Pinang），以表達他個人的看法。”
謝晉文是於3月29日召開記者會下通牒，要州政府在兩週內清理受污染的檳榔河，否則他就要“跳河”清理垃圾。
以下是寫給再里爾的“情書”：
《跳進檳榔河》
我靜悄悄地拍了一張照片
就像我來到這裡一樣安靜；
我悄悄地收集廢物，
在雙溪檳榔的渾水中
河邊發出惡臭的垃圾
象徵了夕陽下的聰明政客嗎
他們在波光粼粼的海浪上倒影著
把“太極”的奧義發揮淋漓至盡
在污泥中游泳的空瓶子
在水下悠閒地搖擺；
在雙溪檳榔的溫柔海浪中
我會是一個水瓶
榆樹蔭下的垃圾
存著的不是水，而是來自天上的火箭；
在鴨草間破成碎片
那是火箭所夢想的沉澱物嗎？
追逐夢想？
投票給國陣
到草更綠的地方
或讓火箭的滿載謊言持續在人群中咆哮
雖我不能大聲吶喊
但我的沉默卻是我的烏巴音樂
即使是聰明的政客也無話可說
今晚沉默的是雙溪檳城！
我很安靜地離開了
就像我來到這裡一樣安靜；
我趕緊折起褲子
毫不猶豫地跳進雙溪檳榔
《Jumping into Sungai Pinang》
Very quietly I took a picture
As quietly as I came here;
Quietly I collect waste,
To the murky water in the Sungai Pinang
The smelly rubbish by the riverside
Are smart politicians in the setting sun
Their reflections on the shimmering waves
Always “play Tai-Chi” here and there
The empty bottles swimming in the sludge
Sway leisurely under the water;
In the gentle waves of Sungai Pinang
I would be a water bottle
The rubbish under the shade of the elms
Holds not water but the rocket from the sky;
Shattered into pieces among the duck weeds
Is that the sediment of a rocket-like dream?
To chase a dream?

To where the grass is more verdant
Or to have the rocket fully loaded with lies barking in the crowd
But I cant shout aloud
My silence is my Ubah music
Even smart politicians are voiceless
Silent is Sungai Pinang tonight!
