“新冠病毒變異正常” 李國忠：目前入境者SOP已足夠

（八打靈再也22日訊）傳染病專家拿督李國忠認為，雖然英國出現新冠病毒變異，但這似乎並沒有造成冠病死亡病例加劇的情況。

他今早在推特上發文表示，在大流行病的過程中出現新冠病毒變異是正常的情況，但這種可能據傳染性的新冠病毒，似乎並沒有造成死亡病例上升。

“就目前而言，我國對入境者實施的標準作業程序已經足夠，我們還需要更多數據來了解更多情況。”

另一方面，李國忠也對政府在明年1月1日起，強制要求僱主為外勞進行冠病檢測的決定表示歡迎。

他說，這個政策應該成為定期檢測，而不是一次性，尤其是對一些難以保持身距及戴上口罩的行業，更不要忘記他們的居住環境。
